What is HYPR?+
HYPR is a marketplace where African brands and verified creators run campaigns together, paid or barter. Brands see real audience numbers, the payment is held safe until the work is delivered, and creators get paid reliably in the currency they actually use.
When does it launch?+
We are forming a founding cohort in Zimbabwe now, ahead of a closed beta. South Africa and Kenya follow as the platform matures. Join the waitlist to be on the platform when it opens.
How do payments work?+
You agree a deal in cash or barter. For cash, HYPR holds the budget until the work is delivered, then releases it. Creators get paid in US dollars through the rails people here already use: EcoCash, InnBucks, Paynow and Mukuru. Local currency is available if you ever want it, but the dollar comes first. Barter deals (product or services) are confirmed the same way, so both sides are protected.
Is HYPR a marketplace or an agency?+
A marketplace. Brands and creators contract directly through the platform, with HYPR providing verification, escrow, settlement and reporting. We are not an agency running campaigns for you.
